OUR LEGACY

Wijaya Print (formally known as Wijaya Printers) was founded by Mr. B. M. Alosios Perera in 1942, predating every other printing press in the vicinity. Young Alosios was a talented craftsman of his trade who was fortunate to start his career, be influenced by, and work side by side with Colonial craftsmen. Impressed by his talent and dedication to the trade, the British encouraged Alosios to start his own establishment, which later became 'Wijaya Printers'.

Alosios's talent, being so ahead of his time, managed to appeal to the elite class of citizens (including artists and celebrities) from the beginning of Wijaya Print. His genuine passion to deliver the best quality kept Wijaya Print invulnerable and superior to the later-arrived competition.

THE STORY CONTINUES

Wijaya Print is now directed by the third generation of talent, Mr. Damien Perera who grew up inside his family trade since he was a child. His devotion and keenness to learn and master the trade of printing from a young age combined with his driven nature brought Wijaya Print significant advancements and made it a state-of-the-art printing complex that allows clients to get all their printing-related needs done under one roof.

Our experienced design team is well equipped with both practical and theoretical knowledge in finalizing and enhancing your designs to fine-tune them to ensure the accuracy of your design with the final print.

Then we use the latest "computer to plate" (CTP) technology to transfer your designs to the printing plates without any quality loss.

PRESS

Our talented crew at the printing complex then takes over. They are masters of their crafts with years of experience and expertise who have mastered generic C,M,Y,K printing, Pantone® lithography alongside trade secrets and practices we have developed over the decades to deliver you the best quality in the highest quantities with the most advanced machinery up to date.
